Dear Sir:
The Law Department has received a request from Conor Commercial Real Estate to lease 38+/- acres of District real estate located at 7700 S. LaGrange Road in Willow Springs, Illinois and known as Main Channel Parcel 31.01. The site is currently vacant.
The intended use of the site is to construct an industrial warehouse for use as a distribution facility. The requested term is for 39 years.
The District's technical departments have reviewed the lease request and have indicated that the subject site is not needed for corporate use nor do they have any technical objections thereto.
It is requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that it authorize and direct the General Counsel to commence statutory procedures to lease 38+/- acres of District real estate located at 7700 S. LaGrange Road in Willow Springs, Illinois; Main Channel Parcel 31.01 upon the terms and conditions set forth herein.
