Dear Sir:
On April 7, 2016, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to advertise for bids Contract 16-953-11 Furnishing and Delivering a Supplemental Carbon Source and Distribution System to the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant, Agenda Item No. 23, File No. 16-0348.
This authorization must be rescinded because authority to advertise was already submitted and approved at the Board Meeting of March 3, 2016, under agenda Item No. 16, File No. 16-0196.
In view of the foregoing, the Director of Procurement and Materials Management recommends the authority to advertise Contract 16-953-11 Furnishing and Delivering a Supplemental Carbon Source and Distribution System to the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant, April 7, 2016, Agenda Item No. 23, File No. 16-0348, be rescinded and that the authority approved at the March 3, 2016, Board Meeting under agenda Item No. 16, File No. 16-0196 be retained.
