Title: Report on rejection of proposals for 16-RFP-07, Workplace Violence Awareness Training (As Revised)

TRANSMITTAL LETTER FOR BOARD MEETING OF MAY 5, 2016

COMMITTEE ON PROCUREMENT

Mr. David St. Pierre, Executive Director

Title

Report on rejection of proposals for 16-RFP-07, Workplace Violence Awareness Training (As Revised)

Body

Dear Sir:

On February 18, 2016, the report on advertisement for the request for proposal, Workplace Violence Awareness Training, was sent to the Board of Commissioners.

On February 24, 2016, the request for proposal was advertised and responses were received on March 18, 2016.

Two hundred and forty (240) companies were notified of this request for proposal (RFP) and seventeen (17) companies requested proposal documents.  The tabulation of proposers is as follows:

                     PROBIZASSOC.COM

After a review of the sole proposal received, it revealed that ProBizAssoc.com has not performed any prior workplace violence training.  Therefore, the Director of Procurement and Materials Management has notified ProBizAssoc.com that their proposal is being rejected.

The request for proposal will be re-advertised with a revised Scope of Work.

Respectfully Submitted, Darlene A. LoCascio, Director of Procurement and Materials Management, DAL:SEB:cm
