Dear Sir:

 

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for 16-RFP-26 Cellular Voice and Data Services, at the request of the Information Technology Department.  The estimated start date is June 1, 2017 and the estimated contract end date is May 30, 2021.

 

The purpose of this contract is to provide low cost voice and data services using cellular communications for all District requirements.

 

The estimated cost for this RFP is $1,187,600.00.  The estimated 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 expenditures are $193,000.00, $276,600.00, $288,700.00, $293,800.00 and $135,500.00, respectively.

 

No bid deposit is required for this RFP.

 

The contract is anticipated to begin on June 1, 2017 and end May 30, 2021.

 

Appendix A will not be included in this RFP due to the scope of work to be performed under this contract.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Proposals Received                     December 2, 2016

Award                     January 5, 2017

Completion                     May 30, 2021

 

Funds are being requested in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 in Accounts 101-27000-612210, 623850 and are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for those years.
