At the Board Meeting of May 5, 2016, the Board of Commissioners duly authorized the above stated action, Agenda Item No. 15, File No. 16-0451.

 

A textual error in the title/transmittal letter and resulting order indicated “Contract 16-667-91”. Same should have read “Contract 17-667-91”.

 

In addition, a textual error in the title/transmittal letter and resulting order indicated:

 

“The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D will also be included in this contract.”

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     June 15, 2016

Bid Opening           July 12, 2016

Award                               August 4, 2016

Completion               December 31, 2016”

 

Same should have read:

 

“The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D will be included in this contract. The type of work to be performed under the contract is within the “General and Heavy Construction” category for establishing Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE), and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) utilization goals. The associated participation goals for this contract, are 20% Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), 10% Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE) and 10% Small Business Enterprises (SBE)…”

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     September 21, 2016

Bid Opening            October 18, 2016

Award                               January 5, 2017

Completion                December 31, 2017”

 

All other information provided in the transmittal is correct.

 

Therefore, it is requested that the aforesaid Board Order of May 5, 2016, be amended to effect the change set forth above, otherwise to remain in force and effect as heretofore enacted.
