Dear Sir:
Request for Proposal 17-RFP-21 documents have been prepared for Real Estate Appraisal Services at the request of the Law Department.
The purpose of this contract is to obtain appraisal services to assist the Law Department in valuing its incoming producing real estate as part of its 2017 Legislative Initiative Program to authorize a structure to realize value from District-owned real estate that is not immediately required for a corporate purpose in order to fully fund the District’s Other Post-Employment Benefit Trust (OPEB), thereby reducing District costs. The estimated number of parcels to be appraised is 90. The District is seeking two real estate appraisal firms to provide professional services to the Real Estate Division of the Law Department for this purpose
The estimated cost for this RFP is $300,000.00 for 2017.
A bid deposit is not required for this RFP.
Appendix A will be included with this request for proposal. The Affirmative Action goals will be 20% minority Business Enterprises (MBE), 10% Women Business Entrepreneur (WBE) and 10% Small Business Enterprises (SBE).
