Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 17-803-21, Furnish and Deliver a Replacement Variable Frequency Drive for Low Level Pump No. 5 at the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.
The purpose of this project is to procure a variable frequency drive to replace the existing faulted unit on low level pump No. 5 at the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant.
The estimated cost for this contract is $65,000.00.
The bid deposit for this contract is $3,200.00.
The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not applicable to this contract because it is a furnish and deliver contract for equipment.
The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D, will not be included in this contract because it is a furnish and deliver contract for equipment.
The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:
Advertise March 8, 2017
Bid Opening March 21, 2017
Award April 20, 2017
Completion December 31, 2017
Funds for the current year are available in Account 201-50000-634650.
In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 17-803-21.
