Report on advertisement of Request for Proposal 17-RFP-36 Provide Plant Information Management Software for the District’s Seven Water Reclamation Plants, estimated cost $300,000.00, Accounts 401-50000-612430/634820, Requisition 1490770

Body

Dear Sir:

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for 17-RFP-36 Provide Plant Information Management Software for the District’s Seven Water Reclamation Plants, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

The purpose of this request for proposal is to obtain a commercial, off the shelf, data management system to integrate and store the information generated by the District’s existing SCADA, LIMS and MMS systems, as well as manually generated daily logs, for all seven of the District’s Water Reclamation Plants. Currently, the operating data from the numerous sources is manually transcribed or imported into monthly or daily reports. There is no centralized formal database of all this valuable plant operating data. This request for proposal seeks proposers to provide the necessary software to collect, organize, store, retrieve, and then create reports from the archived data.

The estimated total cost for this contract is $300,000.00.

No bid deposit is required for this Proposal.

Appendix A will not be included in this request for proposal due to the scope of work performed under the agreement. The contract  primarily consists of software purchase and integration. The requested services do not provide practical or cost-effective opportunities for direct or indirect subcontracting.

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:
