Dear Sir:

 

At the Board Meeting of February 5, 2009, the Board of Commissioners duly authorized the above stated action, Agenda Item No. 17, File No. 09-0172.

 

A textual error in the title/transmittal letter and resulting order indicated, “Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for the procurement of services to furnish, deliver and install two rotary air compressors at the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant.” Same should have read, Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for the procurement of services to furnish, deliver and install six rotary air compressors at the Stickney Water Reclamation Plant.

 

In addition, a textual error in the title/transmittal letter and resulting order indicated, “The Revised Appendix D will be included in this contract. The type of work to be performed under the contract is within the “Mechanical” category for establishing PCE utilization goals. The PCE utilization goals for this contract are 20% Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), 9% Women’s Business Enterprises (WBE), and 10% Small Business Enterprises (SBE).” Same should have read, Revised Appendix D will not be included in this contract because of the specialized nature of the work and the restricted number of potential bidders.

 

All other information provided in the transmittal is correct.

 

Therefore, it is requested that the aforesaid Board Order of February 5, 2009 be amended to effect the changes set forth above, otherwise to remain in force and effect as heretofore enacted.
