Dear Sir:
Authority is requested to add project Furnish and Deliver a Stake Body Truck to the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant, to the Construction Fund, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department under the NJPA Purchasing Contract No. 120716-NAF.
This project consists of the procurement of a stake body truck to replace an existing vehicle with excessive corrosion that has resulted in the detachment of the body from the frame. The vehicle needing replacement is a 2006 Ford F550 4x4 crew cab, stake body truck, with lift gate, with accumulated mileage of 96,431. The cost of repairing the truck to date has reached $56,000.00. This vehicle is essential for movement of necessary equipment used in the treatment processes at the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant.
The estimated cost of the project is $70,000.00.
