Dear Sir:
On November 2, 2017, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to advertise for bids Contract 17-483-11, Provide Co-Location Services for District Infrastructure.
In response to a public advertisement of July 18, 2018, a bid opening was held on July 31, 2018. The bid tabulation for this contract is:
QTS INVESTMENT PROPERTIES CHICAGO LLC $375,523.00
Two hundred eighty-nine (289) companies were notified of this contract being advertised and twenty (20) companies requested specifications.
The sole bid from QTS Investment Properties Chicago LLC did not comply with the site location specifications of the contract documents.
Therefore, the bid is rejected for not complying with the location requirements stated on Page DS-2, under Article 2 of the contract documents. The Director of Procurement and Materials Management has informed QTS Investment Properties Chicago LLC of this action.
The Information Technology Department (IT) will review and revise, the contract documents before re-advertising.
