RESOLUTION sponsored by the Board of Commissioners recognizing the tenth anniversary of the Irish Books, Arts and Music Festival

Body

 

WHEREAS, the Irish Books, Arts and Music Festival, also known as iBAM!, is an annual celebration of Irish arts and culture at the Irish American Heritage Center; and

 

WHEREAS, each October, iBAM! has drawn Irish authors, poets, musicians and artists for a weekend of cultural exchange and fun; and

 

WHEREAS, this year marks the 10th anniversary of iBAM!; and

 

WHEREAS, iBAM! will take place this October 27-28 at the Irish American Heritage Center with a Gala Awards Dinner on October 26th; and

 

WHEREAS, the Irish Books, Arts and Music Festival continues to be an exciting celebration of Irish arts and culture, drawing new participants every year; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, on behalf of ourselves and staff, do hereby recognize the tenth anniversary of the Irish Books, Arts and Music Festival; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent record of proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.
