Body
Dear Sir:
Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 18-802-21, Furnish, Deliver, and Install a Shaftless Screw Conveyor in an Aerated Grit Tank at the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.
The purpose of this contract is to install a shaftless screw conveyor in one aerated grit tank in Calumet’s Aerated Grit Building to alleviate issues associated with the operation and maintenance of the traveling bridge system in that tank. Installing a shaftless screw conveyor will provide a more reliable, easily repaired and less costly system that will minimize downtime for operation of the tank.

The bid deposit for this contract is $15,000.00.
