Authority to approve and execute an access agreement from Bridgeport Village Homeowners Association for Contract 73-162-DH Tunnel and Reservoir Plan, Mainstream Tunnel System, Groundwater Monitoring System in the City of Chicago

Dear Sir:
In connection with Contract 73-162-DH Tunnel and Reservoir Plan, Mainstream Tunnel System, Groundwater Monitoring System, it is necessary to acquire an access agreement from Bridgeport Village Homeowners Association in order to access an existing groundwater monitoring well required by the Environmental Protection Agency within the Bridgeport Village Homeowners Association property in the City of Chicago. There is no monetary consideration for this agreement.
It is requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that it authorize and approve the access agreement from the Bridgeport Village Homeowners Association.
It is further requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that the Chairman of the Committee on Finance and the Clerk be authorized and directed to execute any necessary documents in connection with the temporary easement agreement on behalf of the District after it is approved by the Director of Engineering as to technical matters and by the General Counsel as to form and legality.
