Dear Sir:
 
Request for Proposal 13-RFP-15 documents have been prepared for a Risk Management Information System, at the request of the Human Resources Department.
 
The purpose of this contract is to obtain services to assist the Human Resources Department in aggregating, analyzing, managing, and reporting on risk, insurance, exposure, and operational data within the District. This system(s) will serve as the central warehouse for risk related data and will provide a platform for managing risk and for efficiently communicating risk issues across the organization.
 
The estimated cost for this contract is $300,000.00.  The estimated 2013, 2014 and 2015 expenditures are $130,000.00, $85,000.00 and $85,000.00 respectively.
 
A bid deposit is not required for this RFP.
 
Appendix A will not be included because it does not provide practical or cost-effective opportunities for direct or indirect subcontracting.
 
The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:
Advertise:      July 24, 2013
Proposals Received:      August 21, 2013
Award:      November 7, 2013
Completion:      December 31, 2016
 
Funds are available in Account 201-50000-601170 for 2013.  Funds are being requested in 2014 and 2015, in Account 201-50000-601170, and are contingent on the Board of Commissioners' approval of the District's budget for those years.
