Dear Sir:
Ducere, LLC has requested to lease approximately 11.9 acres of District real estate located at 18500 West 9th Street in Lockport, Will County, Illinois and known as Main Channel Parcels 15.02 and 15.04 to operate a barge business. The parcels are currently vacant. The requested lease term is 39-years.
The District's technical departments have reviewed the lease request and have no objections to leasing Main Channel Parcels 15.02 and 15.04.
It is requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that it authorize and direct the General Counsel to commence statutory procedures to lease approximately 11.9 acres of District real estate located at 18500 West 9th Street in Lockport, Will County, Illinois; Main Channel Parcels 15.02 and 15.04 upon the terms and conditions set forth herein.
