Body
Dear Sir:
On November 7, 1985, the Board of Commissioners (Board) adopted Resolution R85-016 which allows the Executive Director to make recommendation to the Board for approval of payment to new employees in “Critical Recruitment Positions” for the necessary and actual expenses incurred in relocating them and members of their immediate families and possessions from their former place of residence to a residence in Cook County, Illinois. A copy of Resolution R85-016 is attached. This request is made pursuant to that Resolution.
Dr. Olawale Oladeji, Associate Environmental Soil Scientist, began working at the District on January 6, 2010, in the Biosolids Utilization and Soil Science Section of the Monitoring and Research Department. The Director of Human Resources has determined that this position can be considered to be a “Critical Recruitment Position.”
Dr. Oladeji and his family relocated from Royal Palm Beach, Florida, to a residence located in Cook County, Illinois. Dr. Oladeji has submitted his relocation expenses, supported by receipts and has requested reimbursement of $2,759.92.
It is hereby recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize payment, by direct voucher, to reimburse Dr. Oladeji for his relocation expenses. Funds have been approved and are available in the 2010 budget in Account No. 101-16000-612490.
