Dear Sir:
In connection with the captioned project, it is necessary to grant a general permit to the District’s contractor, Kenny Construction Company (Kenny), for the construction staging area in the North Shore Channel Atlas Parcel 5.01 for Contract 02-010-3S (Rebid), Evanston Intercepting Sewer Rehabilitation - Orrington Avenue Leg.
The consideration for the general permit from Kenny is a nominal fee of ten dollars ($10.00).
It is respectfully requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that it approve the general permit to Kenny for the construction of the staging area in the North Shore Channel Atlas Parcel 5.01 for Contract 02-010-3S (Rebid), Evanston Intercepting Sewer Rehabilitation - Orrington Avenue Leg.
It is further requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that the Chairman of the Committee on Finance and the Director of Finance/Clerk be authorized and directed to execute said general permit, on behalf of the District after it is approved by the Acting Director of Engineering as to technical matters and by the General Counsel as to form and legality.
