Authority is requested to add Project 09-871-3S, Inverted Siphon Inspection, North Service Area, Stickney Service Area & Calumet Service Area to the Engineering Department Capital Improvements Program and the Capital Improvements Bond Fund at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.
The purpose of this project is to inspect and assess the condition of inverted siphons within the District service area. One inverted siphon from each of the three service basins has been selected for this project.
The project consists of bypassing, dewatering, cleaning, inspection and submittal of a condition assessment report for each inverted siphon inspected.
The estimated cost of the project is $3,050,000.00.
