Attached is a report indicating the investments made in securities and overnight money market funds for the various District Funds during the month of April 2010.
During the month, 35 individual investments were made with a total par value of $158,600,000.00 at an average annual yield of 0.754%. The interest income to maturity of these investments is approximately $1.9 million. Investments made included 13 items for a period of from 30 to 914 days with a par value of $68,600,000.00, invested at an average yield of 1.302%, and 22 items in Commercial Paper for less than 30 days (average 15 days) with a par value of $90,000,000.00 at an average yield of 0.336%.
Additionally, 6 investments were made in Money Market Funds during the month, with a par value of $101,810,433.67 at an average annual yield of 0.290%.
