Report on the District's Capital Projects to be funded by the anticipated December 2010 Bond Sale

Dear Sir:
The Engineering Department and the Treasurer have examined capital fund balances in relation to District projects currently identified under the Capital Improvement Program and determined that a bond sale is required to maintain adequate balances to fund ongoing and expected capital projects.
Capital projects will be funded by the sale of up to $500 million of general obligation capital improvement bonds. The project lists may be modified by subsequent budgets.
The general obligation capital improvement bonds will fund the following current and future projects:
