Dear Sir:
Contract documents and specifications have been prepared to Furnish and Deliver approximately 135,000 gallons of Diesel Grade Fuel Oil to Various Locations for a One (1) Year Period, beginning approximately January 1, 2011 and ending December 31, 2011.
The purpose of this contract is to furnish and deliver diesel grade fuel oil to various locations required for the day to day operations of the District.
The estimated cost for this contract is $385,300.00.
The bid deposit for this contract is $19,000.00.
The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not applicable to this contract because it is primarily a furnish and deliver contract.
Revised Appendix D is not included in this contract because it is primarily a furnish and deliver contract.
The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Bid Opening December 07, 2010
Award January 06, 2011
Completion December 31, 2011
Funds are being requested in 2011, in Accounts 101-16000, 66000, 67000, 68000, 69000-623820, and are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for that year.
In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 11-022-11.
