Dear Sir:
On September 16, 2010, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to advertise for bids, Contract 11-100-11, Furnish and Deliver Radiochemical Analyses of Water, Wastewater, Sludge and Biosolids.
In response to a public advertisement of October 27, 2010, a bid opening was held November 16, 2010. The bid tabulation for this contract is:
ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. $86,944.00
Four hundred seventy (470) companies were notified of this contract being advertised and ten (10) companies requested specifications.
A review of bid submitted by Environmental, Inc., revealed that the proposal signature page P-5 and the Affidavit page AF-1, did not contain original signatures as required, per page G-2 of the contract document. Therefore, their bid is considered non-responsive and rejected in the public’s best interest. The Director of Procurement and Materials Management has notified Environmental, Inc., of this action.
The Monitoring and Research Department will re-advertise this contract at a later date.
