Attached is a report indicating the investments made in securities and overnight money market funds for the various District Funds during the month of October 2010.
During the month, 14 individual investments were made with a total par value of $59,751,000.00 at an average annual yield of 0.378%. The interest income to maturity of these investments is approximately $18.5 thousand. Investments made included 5 items in Commercial Paper for a period of greater than 30 days with a par value of $25,500,000.00, invested at an average yield of 0.360%, and 9 items in Commercial Paper for less than 30 days (average 22 days) with a par value of $34,251,000.00 at an average yield of 0.391%.
Additionally, 14 investments were made in Money Market Funds during the month, with a par value of $102,073,417.44 at an average annual yield of 0.294%.
