Dear Sir:
On May 6, 2010, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to advertise for bids, Contract 10-619-11 Analytical Services for In-Service and Procured Lubricants at Various Locations.
In response to a public advertisement of October 20, 2010, a bid opening was held November 9, 2010. The bid tabulation for this contract is:
TRICO CORPORATION $126,973.03
Three hundred twenty-six (326) companies were notified of this contract being advertised and seven (7) companies requested specifications.
A review of bid submitted by Trico Corporation revealed that the proposal signature page P-8 did not contain an original signature as required, per page G-2 of the contract document. Therefore, their bid is considered non-responsive and rejected in the public’s best interest. The Director of Procurement and Materials Management has notified Trico Corporation of this action.
The Maintenance and Operations Department will re-advertise this contract at a later date.
