Correction of a scrivener's error in the 2012 and 2013 Budgets of the Maintenance & Operations Department for one position from Engineering Technician V #4 (HP14) to Engineering Technician IV #4 (HP12) and in the 2013 Budget of the Human Resources Department for one position from Senior Safety Coordinator to Senior Safety Specialist

Dear Sir:
As part of the 2012 budget preparation process, various positions were identified to be changed during the administration of the adopted budget. The following specific change was incorporated into the BF20 Changes to the Tentative 2012 Budget submitted to the Board of Commissioners (attached BF20 and BF2 documents). On December 8, 2011 the Board of Commissioners approved the change as Amendments to the Tentative 2012 Budget. During the preparation of the Final 2012 Budget document, the change was not correctly documented and published in the 2012 Final Budget. This error was also present in the 2013 Budget presentations.
One position was erroneously presented in the 2012 and 2013 Final Adopted and Amended Budgets as follows:
General Division, Section 653, Page 257
Engineering Technician V #4 (HP14)
This position should have been presented as follows:
General Division, Section 653, Page 257
Engineering Technician IV #4 (HP12)

It is requested that the Board of Commissioners approve the correction of page 257 in the 2012 and 2013 Adopted and Amended Budgets and page 192 of the 2013 Adopted and Amended Budget to properly reflect the positions approved for the 2012 and 2013 Adopted and Amended Budgets.
