Dear Sir:
On January 19, 2012, Jacquelyn Dace, Partnership Development Liaison from the Chicago Public Schools Department of Career and Technical Education, is presenting a plaque to the District in honor of the outstanding work-based learning experiences the District provides for Chicago Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education students and for participating in the Chicago Public Schools’ 2010-2012 work-based learning program.
District employees have been working with this significant and worthy program for four years. Employees have been visiting schools, providing tours of District properties, offering job shadowing opportunities, and facilitating internships. This award reflects Chicago Public Schools’ appreciation of District employees’ participation and the value placed on career education and preparation for high school students.
