Dear Sir:

 

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for the purchase, installation and configuration of cellular devices, accessories and cellular communications services, at the request of the Information Technology Department.

 

The purpose of this contract is to purchase, install and configure cellular devices, accessories and cellular communication services for use by District employees.

 

The estimated cost for this RFP is $1,204,000.00.  The estimated 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 expenditures are $82,000.00, $305,000.00, $295,000.00, $302,000.00 and $220,000.00 respectively.

 

A bid deposit is not required for this RFP.

 

The contract specification requires that all work commence in four years.

 

Appendix A will not be included due to the scope of work performed under this RFP.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     February 01, 2012

Proposals Received                     February 24, 2012

Award                     September 01, 2012

Completion                     August 31, 2016

 

Funds for the current year are available in Accounts 101-27000-612210, 623850.  Funds for subsequent years, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for those years.
