Dear Sir:
Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 26-622-11, Furnish and Deliver Miscellaneous Electrical and Mechanical Equipment to Various Locations, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.
The purpose of this contract is to furnish and deliver miscellaneous electrical and mechanical items to various District facilities. There are seven (7) items in this contract and each item could be awarded separately.
The estimated cost for this contract is $822,100.00.
The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) will not be included in this contract because it is a furnish and deliver contract.
The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D, will not be included in this contract because there are no subcontracting opportunities.
The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:
Advertise June 24, 2026
Bid Opening July 14, 2026
Award August 13, 2026
Completion May 1, 2027
Funds are available in Accounts 101-67000/68000/69000-623070/623270/623560/634650.
In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 26-622-11.
