Dear Sir:
At the February 17, 2011 Board meeting, approval was granted to issue a purchase order and enter into an agreement with MeadWestvaco Corporation as stated above. The Maintenance and Operations Department has notified the Director of Procurement and Materials Management that services are no longer needed, and District staff will perform the work as needed, and will procure parts in the near future under a different purchase requisition for 2012.
In view of the foregoing, the Director of Procurement and Materials Management recommends to rescind the February 17, 2011 Board Order to issue purchase order and enter into an agreement with MeadWestvaco Corporation in an amount not to exceed $24,000.00.
