Body
Dear Sir:
Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 20-107-11 to furnish and deliver ten (10) open channel bubbler flow meters for the Industrial Waste Division (IWD) of the Monitoring and Research Department. The contract will expire on December 31, 2020.
The purpose of this contract is to obtain flow monitoring equipment used by IWD personnel to collect flow-proportional samples of effluent from industrial facilities and other locations in the Cook County area. The equipment will be used by IWD personnel at the Terrence J. O’Brien, Stickney, Calumet, and James C. Kirie Water Reclamation Plants.
The new flow meters will replace older units that are obsolete and unrepairable. The new flow meters will allow personnel to download data collected onto a flash drive or other electronic devices for a more efficient transfer of data to a computer file for reporting purposes.
The estimated cost for this contract is $56,575.00.
A bid deposit is not required for this contract.
The Multi-Project Labor Agreement is not applicable to this contract because it is primarily a furnish and deliver contract.
