Dear Sir:

 

Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 24-622-11, Furnish and Deliver Miscellaneous Electrical and Mechanical Equipment to Various Locations, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

 

The purpose of this contract is to furnish and deliver miscellaneous electrical and mechanical items to various District facilities. There are approximately fourteen items in this contract and each item will be awarded separately.

 

The estimated cost for this contract is $1,553,000.00.

 

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not included in this contract because it is a furnish and deliver contract.

 

The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D and Appendix V will not be included in this contract because there are no subcontracting opportunities.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     November 29, 2023

Bid Opening                     January 9, 2024

Award                                          February 15, 2024

Completion                      December 31, 2024

 

Funds are being requested in 2024 in Accounts 101-67000/68000/69000-623070/623090/623270/623800/634650 and are contingent upon the Board of Commissioner’s approval of the District’s budget for that year.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 24-622-11.
