Dear Sir:

 

On October 16, 2023, the District entered into an agreement for pre-employment background screening services with Accurate Employment Screening, LLC via OMNIA Partnership Contract #R191301. The contract expires on December 31, 2024. 

 

As of August 8, 2024, the attached list of change orders has been approved.

This change is required due to the need to administer pre-employment background screenings for the next category on the eligible list. This was not projected to occur until 2025. Pre-employment background screenings are necessary to continue the selection process and fill vacant Police Officer positions.

 

This change order is in compliance with the Illinois Criminal Code since the change is germane to the contract.

 

It is hereby recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to execute a change order to increase the purchase order for Purchase Order 3126577 in an amount of $3,500.00 (38.89% of the current contract value), from an amount of $9,000.00, to an amount not to exceed $12,500.00

 

Funds are available in Account 101-25000-612430.
