Dear Sir:

 

Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 23-666-11, Security Services at the Prairie Plan Site in Fulton County, Illinois, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

 

The purpose of this contract is to procure security services for the Prairie Plan Site at Fulton County, Illinois, for a two-year period.

 

The estimated cost for this Contract is $176,000.00. The estimated 2023, 2024, and 2025 expenditures are $24,000.00, $88,000.00, and $64,000.00, respectively.

 

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) will not be included in this contract because the services are provided in Fulton County, Illinois.

 

The Affirmative Action Ordinance Revised Appendix D, and Appendix V will not be included in this contract because the services do not allow for any subcontracting opportunities.

 

The tentative schedule for this Contract is as follows:

Advertise                                          April 5, 2023

Bid Opening                       April 25, 2023

Award                                                               May 18, 2023

Completion                         July 31, 2025

 

Funds are available in 2023, in Account 101-69000-612490. Funds for the subsequent years, 2024 and 2025, are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for those years.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 23-666-11.
