Title
Authority to issue a two-month permit to the Village of Winnetka to access District manholes to install, monitor, and remove two flow meters in sewers owned by the Village for a sanitary sewer evaluation survey. Consideration shall be a nominal fee of $10.00.

Dear Sir:
The Village of Winnetka ("Village") has requested a permit for temporary access to certain District sewer manhole structures to install two flow meters on Village sanitary sewers. The Village owns and operates a separate sanitary sewer system tributary to the District's interceptor and treatment plant network. The Village is undertaking a sanitary sewer evaluation survey to assess inflow and infiltration into its sanitary sewer system.
The District's Engineering Department has no objection to granting the Village access provided that plans for the meter installation and removal are submitted for review prior to installation. Twenty-four hour unrestricted access to the District's structures and sewers will be maintained and the Village will be required to execute a Release and Indemnity form for Confined Space Entry. The District's structures, sewers or facilities will be inspected following removal of the flow meters. Additionally, the District will reserve the right to impose any other conditions necessary to protect its structures and facilities.
The District's standard insurance will be required. A nominal fee of $10.00 is recommended as is customary under agreements with municipal agencies using or accessing District property for public purposes.
It is requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that it authorize a two-month permit to the Village of Winnetka to access District manholes to install, monitor, and remove two flow meters in sewers owned by the Village for a sanitary sewer evaluation survey. Consideration shall be a nominal fee of $10.00.
