Body
Dear Sir:
On April 16, 2026, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to issue a purchase order and enter into an agreement with AT&T Enterprises, LLC for Telemetry Services in an amount not to exceed $372,448.22. The contract expires on June 30, 2026.
This purchase order has no prior change orders.
Original Contract Amount $372,448.22
Date of Board Approval 4/16/2026
Cumulative Change Order (3/05/2025) $0.00
% Change of Original Contract Value 0.00%

New Contract Value $100,448.22
% Change of Current Contract Value 73.03%
Total % Change of Original Contract Value 73.03%
This decrease is due to the decommissioning of all analog copper-based Telemetry circuits, except for three circuits used for TARP, based on the transition to the digital fiber-based AT&T Switched Ethernet service. The remaining TARP circuits are scheduled to be decommissioned in late 2027 or early 2028.
This change order is in compliance with the Illinois Criminal Code since the change is due to circumstances not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was signed and is in the best interest of the District.
It is hereby recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to execute a change order to decrease the purchase order in an amount of $272,000.00 (73.03% of the current contract value), from an amount of $372,448.22, to an amount not to exceed $100,448.22.
Funds will be restored to Account 101-27000-612210.
