RESOLUTION sponsored by the Board of Commissioners congratulating employees that have retired in the last year
Body
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (District) employs individuals of the highest caliber whose professionalism demonstrates extraordinary dedication to the District’s mission of protecting our water environment; and
WHEREAS, the efforts of these individuals have enabled the District to maintain its reputation as a recognized leader in the wastewater treatment industry while making a significant contribution to the quality of life within the District’s boundaries; and
WHEREAS, the employees that have retired in the last year have dedicated decades of valuable service to the District. These employees represent various backgrounds and have performed a variety of roles while employed with the District; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, on behalf of ourselves and our staff, do hereby congratulate all employees that have retired for their years of service to the District, express our respect and appreciation, and extend our best wishes for a long and pleasurable retirement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent Record of Proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.
