MEMORIAL RESOLUTION sponsored by the Board of Commissioners extending sympathy and condolences to the family of Timothy Levon Lawson

WHEREAS, Timothy Levon Lawson was born on January 30, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois to Sallie Lee Brimmer and Herbert Lawson; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lawson graduated from Cooley Upper Grade Center and then attended Waller High School where he played basketball and aspired to be a boxer; and
WHEREAS, on March 5, 1969, Mr. Lawson was joined in holy matrimony with Mary Ella Malone. To this union three fabulous daughters were born, Charita Levern, Charlotte Denise, and Audrella RoseAnn, that he affectionately called his “3 angels”; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lawson loved playing the guitar, bowling, and watching western television shows with his daughters. He was a true family man and a faithful, devoted member of Abounding Life COGIC Church; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Lawson was employed by GCA Services (ABM Services)/Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park for more than 15 years. Due to his strong work ethic, he received numerous awards for his exceptional skills, leadership and ability; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, on behalf of ourselves and staff, do hereby extend our sympathy and condolences to the family of Timothy Levon Lawson; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent Record of Proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago and that a copy of same, suitably engrossed, be presented to the family of Timothy Levon Lawson.
