Dear Sir:

 

Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 25-666-11, Security Services at the Prairie Plan Site in Fulton County, Illinois, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

 

The purpose of this contract is to procure security services for the Prairie Plan Site at Fulton County, Illinois, for a twenty-four (24) month period.

 

The estimated cost for this contract is $260,000.00. The estimated 2025, 2026, and 2027 expenditures are $23,000.00, $130,000.00, and $107,000.00, respectively.

 

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) will not be included in this contract because the services are provided in Fulton County, Illinois.

 

The Affirmative Action Ordinance Revised Appendix D, and Appendix V will not be included in this contract because there is an insufficient number of MBE/WBE/VBE firms available that can perform the scope of work.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     August 6, 2025

Bid Opening                     August 26, 2025

Award                     October 2, 2025

Completion                     October 31, 2027

 

Funds are available in 2025 in Account 101-69000-612490. Funds for the subsequent years, 2026 and 2027, are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for those years.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 25-666-11.
