Dear Sir:

 

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for IT Project Management Office Consulting Services, at the request of the Information Technology Department.  The term of the contract will be from April 29, 2024 through April 28, 2026.

 

The purpose of this contract is to obtain qualified and specialized information technology project management, business analysis, user interface/experience design, and quality assurance testing consulting professionals to augment the District’s Information Technology Project Management Office staff in consistently managing and delivering to scope, budget and schedule the projects that support the District’s strategy and operations.

 

The estimated cost for this proposal is $450,000.00.  The estimated 2024, 2025, and 2026 expenditures are $180,000.00, $150,000.00, $120,000.00, respectively.

 

No bid deposit is required for this RFP.

 

Appendix A will be included in this RFP.  The type of work to be performed under this contract is within the professional services category for establishing Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-owned Business enterprises (WBE) and/or Small Business Enterprises (SBE) goals.  The MBE, WBE and/or SBE goals for this contract are:  15% MBE and/or WBE.  Appendix V should not be included.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     January 10, 2024

Proposals Received                     February 23, 2024

Award                     March 21, 2024

Completion                     April 28, 2026

 

Funds are being requested in 2024, 2025, and 2026 in Account 101-27000-612430, and are contingent on the Board of Commissioners’ approval of the District’s budget for those years.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 23-RFP-21.
