Dear Sir:

 

Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 24-679-11, Roof Inspection Services at Various Locations, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

 

The purpose of this contract is to provide roof inspection services at various buildings throughout the District’s service areas, for a twelve-month period.

 

The estimated cost for this contract is $107,000.00.

 

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) will be included in this contract.

 

The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D will be included in this contract. The type of work to be performed under this contract is within the “Miscellaneous Building Construction” category for establishing Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE) utilization goals. The individual goals for this contract are 7% MBE and/or WBE.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                     June 12, 2024

Bid Opening                     July 9, 2024

Award                     August 8, 2024

Completion                      August 8, 2025

 

Funds are available in Account 101-69000-612240.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 24-679-11.
