MOTION FOR BOARD MEETING OF DECEMBER 6, 2012

Title

MOTION to appoint the firm of Edward F. McElroy and Associates as Public Relations Consultant for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (As Amended)

Body

I hereby move to appoint the firm of Edward F. McElroy and Associates as Public Relations Consultant for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for a period of one year commencing January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013.  The Consultant shall be compensated at a rate of $4,000.00 per month.

I further move that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized and directed to issue a purchase order to Edward F. McElroy and Associates in an amount not to exceed $48,000.00 (twenty-four thousand and ⁰⁰/₁₀₀ dollars) upon the above and foregoing terms, and that the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, the Clerk, the Director of Procurement and Materials Management, and the Executive Director be authorized and directed to execute said purchase order and related agreement on behalf of the District after said agreement is approved by the General Counsel as to form and legality.

Funds are being requested in 2013 in Account 101-11000-601170, and are contingent on the Board of Commissioners' approval of the District's budget for that year.
