MEMORIAL RESOLUTION sponsored by the Board of Commissioners extending sympathy and condolences to the family of Kyle C. Matthews
Body
WHEREAS, Kyle C. Matthews was born on May 30, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois to Kyle F. Smith and Dedra J. Matthews; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Matthews was called to eternal rest too soon on October 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, he is survived by his three beautiful daughters, Trevonia, Kayla and Jada; his loving mother, Dedra Matthews; his devoted father, Kyle Smith; his five siblings, Frederick Matthews, Ja’Quory Smith, Keisha White, Tamya Eiland and Faysia MacAuthur; and
WHEREAS, Kyle was an alumnus of Whittier Elementary, Emerson Junior High and Oak Park and River Forest High School, where he excelled academically and played on the football team as the star running back; and
WHEREAS, Kyle was a deeply faithful person, having accepted Christ as a young man, baptized under the leadership of Rev. Bertha Stokes; and
WHEREAS, Kyle Matthews’ family and friends will miss his joyful outlook on life, his handsome, dimpled smile; and his devotion to his loved ones; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, on behalf of ourselves and staff, extend our sympathy and condolences to the family of Kyle C. Matthews; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the permanent Record of Proceedings of the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago and that a copy of same, suitable engrossed, be presented to the family of Kyle C. Matthews.
