Authority to commence statutory procedures to lease approximately 28 acres of District real estate located south of the Main Channel and east of Harlem Avenue in Forest View, Illinois, known as Main Channel Parcel 37.05.

Dear Sir:

 

Bolemac Corporation (d/b/a Acres Truck Parking) (“Acres”) has requested to lease approximately 28 acres of District real estate located south of the Main Channel and east of Harlem Avenue in Forest View, Illinois, known as Main Channel Parcel 37.05. Acres intends to use the parcel to install and operate truck parking stations. The requested lease term is twenty (20) years.

 

The District’s technical departments have reviewed this lease request and have indicated that the subject site is not currently needed for corporate use and that they have no technical objections thereto.

 

It is requested that the Executive Director recommend to the Board of Commissioners that it authorize and direct the General Counsel to commence statutory procedures to lease approximately 28 acres of District real estate located south of the Main Channel and east of Harlem Avenue in Forest View, Illinois, known as Main Channel Parcel 37.05, upon the terms and conditions set forth herein.
