Dear Sir:
Contract documents and specifications have been prepared to furnish and deliver temporary technical personnel services to the Engineering Department at the Annex Office Building Complex location for a 270-day period. The contract requires provision of an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and designer draftsman on a temporary basis to supplement the design staff of the Engineering Department to reduce the backlog of design projects.
The estimated cost for this contract is $360,000.00.
Appendix D is not included in this contract because it is primarily a furnish and deliver contract.
The estimated schedule for the project is as follows:
Advertise 03/19/08
Open Bids 04/15/08
Award 06/05/08
Completion 03/05/09
It is therefore requested that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to advertise Contract 08-850-2P.
Funds for this expenditure are being requested in Account 201-50000-612490.
