Dear Sir:
On August 2, 2018, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to advertise for bids Contract 18-055-11, furnish and deliver pipe covering and insulation to various locations for a one-year period.
In response to a public advertisement of August 22, 2018, a bid opening was held on September 11, 2018. The bid tabulation for this contract is:
INDI ENTERPRISE, INC. *$30,224.93

One hundred fifty-four (154) companies were notified of this contract being advertised and fifteen (15) companies requested specifications.
The sole bidder, Indi Enterprise, Inc., qualified their bid with a per-order minimum value of $1,500.00. Per contract requirements, the minimum order value is $100.00. Therefore, Indi Enterprise’s bid is considered non-responsive and rejected in the public’s best interest in accordance with the contract specifications. The Director of Procurement & Materials Management has notified Indi Enterprise, Inc., of this action.
This contract will be re-advertised at a future date.
