Dear Sir:

 

Request for Proposal (RFP) documents have been prepared for a Telecom Call Accounting Platform, at the request of Information Technology.  The contract will begin December 1, 2023.

 

The purpose of this contract is to procure a Telecom Call Accounting Platform for a two-year period to help the District effectively manage the extensive detail of telecommunication billing. The platform will track monthly billing costs, highlight cost differentials, and provide customized reporting in an easy-to-use interface for better transparency.   

 

The estimated cost for this RFP is $87,000.00. 

 

A bid deposit is not required for this RFP.

 

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) is not applicable to this contract because the classification of work does not fall within the provision of the MPLA.

 

The Affirmative Action Ordinance Appendix A and Appendix V are not included because the estimate is less than the minimum threshold established by Section 4 of the Affirmative Action Ordinance.

 

The tentative schedule for this contract is as follows:

Advertise                                          September 6, 2023

Bid Opening                        September 19, 2023

Award                                                                October 19, 2023

Completion                          November 30, 2025

 

Funds for the current year are available in Accounts 101-27000-612430 and 623800. Funds for subsequent years 2024 and 2025 are contingent on the Board of Commissioners' approval of the District's budget for those years.

 

In view of the foregoing, it is recommended that the Director of Procurement and Materials Management be authorized to advertise Contract 23-RFP-05.
