Body

Dear Sir:

Contract documents and specifications have been prepared for Contract 26-634-11, Services to Inspect and Repair Cathodic Protection Systems, at the request of the Maintenance and Operations Department.

The purpose of this contract is to provide inspection, testing, and repair of cathodic protection systems for the District’s underground tanks and pipelines.

The estimated cost of this contract is not to exceed $650,000.00. The estimated 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029 expenditures are $116,000.00, $245,000.00, $161,000.00, and $128,000.00, respectively.

The Multi-Project Labor Agreement (MPLA) will not be included in this contract because of the specialized nature of the work.

The Affirmative Action Ordinance, Revised Appendix D and Appendix V, will not be included in this contract because of the limited availability of MBE/WBE/VBE participants and the specialization of the project.

Bid Opening                       March 31, 2026
