MOTION to reconsider the December 11, 2025 vote Adopting Ordinance O25-005, of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for the levy of taxes for 2026 to provide revenues for the Retirement Fund and Corporate Fund, effective for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026

Dear Sir:

 

I move that the Board of Commissioners of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago reconsider the vote adopting Ordinance O25-005, entitled:

 

“ORDINANCE NUMBER O25-005 FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2026, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2026, UPON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE METROPOLITAN WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT OF GREATER CHICAGO AS SAID TERRITORIAL LIMITS EXIST ON JANUARY 1, 2026, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING REVENUES FOR THE METROPOLITAN WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT RETIREMENT FUND AND CORPORATE FUND”.
