Dear Sir:
On December 4, 2025, the Board of Commissioners authorized the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to award Contract 26-021-11 Furnish and Deliver Unleaded Gasoline to Various Locations, Group A to Petroleum Traders Corporation, in a total amount not to exceed $257,858.25. The contract expires on December 31, 2026.
As of May 21, 2026, the attached list of change orders has been approved.

An increase to the contract value is being requested due to District-wide ongoing demand for unleaded gasoline for day-to-day operations. The increase reflects ongoing geopolitical and economic factors that have contributed to the rising cost of fuel nationwide.
This change order is in compliance with the Illinois Criminal Code since the change is due to circumstances not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was signed and is in the best interest of the District.
It is hereby recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the Director of Procurement and Materials Management to execute a change order to increase Contract 26-021-11 in an amount of $110,000.00 (41.07% of the current contract value), from an amount of $267,858.24, to an amount not to exceed $377,858.24.
Funds are available in Accounts 101-20000-623820.
